Adrian is considered to be one of the nation's most powerful youth speakers. His presence as a conference speaker is equally compelling. He exudes passion for the young people of his time. Adrian was an outstanding basketball player. He uses an inspiring twist of sports as he communicates a relevant message of hope.

   Adrian was a standout in high school. He graduated the same year as Michael Jordan. During their senior year, they played in the McDonald's All Star Game. Michael scored 30 points, Adrian scored 24 and Adrian received the MVP award. Adrian was also recognized as having the high school dunk of the "Dunk of the Year" while competing against the likes of Patrick Ewing, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone and others.

   Adrian went to the University of Maryland where he played with Len Bias. Adrian was the 3rd All-time leading scorer at the University of Maryland, Two-time All American Honorable Mention. He was drafted in the 2nd round by the Chicago Bulls. He went on to win a World Championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 1987 with "Magic" Johnson and Kareem Abduhl-Jabbar.

   Adrian has spoken to over a half million youth in school assemblies, colleges, correctional facilities, juvenile homes, youth groups and many professional and collegiate athletic teams. He has had an awesome response from students, principals, teachers.

Adrian is married to Kim and they have three children: Adrian II, Kylie and Kori.
