How can
you increase national pride, entrepreneurship, personal
development, teamwork and leadership for your country?
The Freeman Institute Foundation
is the non-profit arm of
The
Freeman Institute.
The primary
purpose of the foundation is to help provide the
opportunity for world-class
leadership development and educational seminar experiences for all -- regardless of age, race,
class or religious affiliation -- who would be
unable to afford Dr. Freeman's regular, general market fees for such
training. Based upon the recommendation of Dr. Freeman and
the board, The Freeman Institute Foundation will help
subsidize a limited number (three) of seminar events each year
for developing nations around the world.
The Freeman Institute's signature seminar
program is affectionately titled, "Dealing With
People Who Drive You Crazy!"®
(Check out the
other programs
mentioned below...)
Is this
your seat?
Dr. Freeman rarely facilitates open registration seminars,
but when he has, the seminars typically attract many small business owners, non-profit
leadership teams, government workers, family business
owners, corporate
leadership teams and others interested in experiencing how personal
development can enhance family and business relationships.

Dr.
Joel Freeman has served as the mentor/chaplain of the
NBA Washington Wizards for 19 years ('79-'98) and has worked
personally with many professional athletes and business
executives. From these experiences Dr. Freeman has developed
a number of proven training programs.
Since
1994 The Freeman Institute has experienced enthusiastic

Basic
Thesis: We all are different. Some of us are
thinkers, others are doers; some are passive, still others
are aggressive. Most people come to work with pretty good
intentions, but we get on each other’s nerves just by
being ourselves. In the every-day stress of the work
environment, the tiniest issues can escalate. And soon we
are fighting about the way we are fighting, instead of
dealing with the real issues. People do not respond to our
intentions. They respond to our behavior.
Studies show
that 15% of one's career and financial success is dependent
upon technical competence, while 85% of one's success is
dependent upon interpersonal skills.
Whether an
individual flips hamburgers at a fast food restaurant or
occupies a mid level position of a larger multinational company,
Freeman's passion is to enhance the "promotability potential"
of people of all ages, shapes, sizes and colors. In his
seminars Dr. Freeman blends a sense of humor and personal
vulnerability with sharp wit and practical concepts to reach
a broad audience. His desire includes to help establish the
kind of self-worth purpose that will help people become even
more productive citizens.

This Project:

The Question: Do you represent
a developing/emerging country with
the infrastructure set up to
host a co-sponsored nation-wide open-registration seminar event with The Freeman Institute?
This is a very workable program.
Email
us or call us (cell: 410.991.9718) for specific information on
how these seminar events can benefit you and the
emerging/current leaders of your country. The emphasis will be
to encourage leaders to give back to your nation instead of
being a part of the brain drain.

Some nations have utilized The Freeman Institute
seminars as training for their leadership teams -- as well as
a unique event for the region at large. The Freeman
Institute Foundation is willing to help subsidize up to
three seminar events each year designed for
developing/emerging nations -- government workers,
students, faculty, religious leaders and business people.
As a
prolific author (6 books in 28 foreign editions), professional
speaker and world traveler, Dr. Freeman is a seasoned veteran.
He is a seasoned veteran, having worked with people
in many levels from many industries. Freeman
has made himself available to facilitate such seminars, but he
wants to make sure that each event is successful -- hosted at
a venue large enough to make an impact upon the leaders of the
country.
At the
seminar event Dr. Freeman will cast a wide net in terms of
evocative content and practical application. The day long
training event will be customized, so that everyone will walk
away with practical, life-changing principles and values that
they can begin to apply that very day.

Freeman has a
number of interests, but he especially loves working
with developing/emerging nations, with a
special emphasis seminar that is designed to help
enhance leadership/personal development and teamwork.
There are both inreach and
outreach benefits for your nation:
i. Staff/personal/leadership development for a
nation. A certain number of senior government leaders can
attend without charge. ii. Very real costs will have to be met (air and ground travel,
workbooks, hotel, food, etc). We can be creative about
all this, considering corporate sponsorship, barter
for tickets and other win/win ideas. We will also
consider a minimal charge for everyone else, with the
development of a mutually-beneficial

percentage split on the per-person ticket price...a
healthy percentage will go to an educational
institution or health-care facility. iii.
Perhaps
a group of students from a regional business
school/course can receive additional credit for
developing and implementing the marketing plan for
this specific event.
vi. We also would like to give a block of tickets (in
your country's name) to disadvantaged youth who want to
succeed in life.
vii. AN ALTERNATIVE IDEA: A few local
corporations can sponsor the
seminar event, giving Dr.
Freeman his normal honorarium. Everyone
attends the seminar for
free.

Dr. Freeman just finished a new book about starting
and expanding an entrepreneurial pursuit -- "If
Nobody Loves You, Create The Demand" The
publisher is willing to private-label this book for
business schools (min. 2500 copies).
An organization promoting
entrepreneurship can have their logo on the lower right-hand corner of the
cover, along with the first couple pages to do with
what they want. This edition can be financially
sponsored by a few corporations, placing their ads on
the inside back cover of this special edition to make
it a win/win scenario.
This edition is timeless,
allowing an organization promoting entrepreneurship to
use it over a number of semesters -- sending copies to
small business operators in the community --

large group of
motivated people who would be willing to experience a
half-day or all-day seminar experience with Dr. Freeman?
