of
The
Freeman Institute.
The primary purpose of the foundation is to help
provide the
opportunity for world-class
faculty/staff development and student event seminar experiences for all -- regardless of age, race,
class or religious affiliation -- who would be
unable to afford Dr. Freeman's regular, general market fees for such
training. Based upon the recommendation of Dr. Freeman and
the board, The Freeman Institute Foundation will help
subsidize a limited number (ten) of seminar events each year
for educational institutions.
The Freeman Institute's signature seminar
program is affectionately titled, "Dealing With
People Who Drive You Crazy!"®

Dr. Freeman rarely facilitates open registration seminars,
but when he has, the seminars typically attract many small business owners, non-profit
leadership teams, government workers, family business
owners, corporate
leadership teams and others interested in experiencing how personal
development can enhance family and business relationships.

a number of proven training programs.

Basic
Thesis: We all are different. Some of us are
thinkers, others are doers; some are passive, still others
are aggressive. Most people come to work with pretty good
intentions, but we get on each other’s nerves just by
being ourselves. In the every-day stress of the work
environment, the tiniest issues can escalate. And soon we
are fighting about the way we are fighting, instead of
dealing with the real issues. People do not respond to our
intentions. They respond to our behavior.
Studies show
that 15% of one's career and financial success is dependent
upon technical competence, while 85% of one's success is
dependent upon interpersonal skills.
Whether an
individual flips hamburgers at a fast food restaurant or
occupies a mid level position of a Fortune 500 company,
Freeman's passion is to enhance the "promotability potential"
of people of all ages, shapes, sizes and colors. In his
seminars Dr. Freeman blends a sense of humor and personal
vulnerability with sharp wit and practical concepts to reach
a broad audience.

The Question: Do you represent
an educational institution with
the infrastructure set up to
host a co-sponsored area-wide open-registration seminar event with The Freeman Institute?
This is a very workable program.
Email
us or call us (cell: 410.991.9718) for specific information on how
these seminar events can benefit you, your educational
institution and
the surrounding community. Freeman also has a program
specifically designed for the Business/Entrepreneurial
Department of any educational institution.

Some educational institutions have utilized The Freeman Institute
seminars as training for their leadership team -- as well as a
unique event for the student body
and
an outreach to the community at large. The Freeman
Institute Foundation is willing to help subsidize up to
ten seminar events each year designed for students,
faculty and area business people.
As a
prolific author (6 books in 28 foreign editions), professional
speaker and world traveler, Dr. Freeman is a seasoned veteran.
He is a seasoned veteran, having worked with people
in many levels from many industries. Freeman
has made himself available to facilitate such seminars, but he
wants to make sure that each event is successful -- hosted at
a venue large enough to make an impact upon the institution
and also the community.
At each
seminar event Dr. Freeman will cast a wide net in terms of
evocative content and practical application -- customizing the training experience to include
everyone from the faculty and support staff to the
student body and business people in the surrounding community.

The People Side of Life and Business Success
Freeman has a
number of interests, but he especially loves working
with Business Schools (Entrepreneurial Studies) with a
special emphasis seminar that is designed to help
increase enrollment and also to raise awareness of the
school. He loves a win/win event where "all of the
boats float to the top together."
There are both inreach and
outreach benefits for your school:
B E N E
F I T S
i. Staff/personal/leadership/faculty development for a
school. A certain
number of your instructors can
attend without charge.
ii. Exposure for your school to the surrounding business community,
with the
aim to
increase enrollment.
iii. Some tickets to be given to your prime benefactors.
iv. We can determine the mutually-beneficial
percentage split on the per-
person ticket price.
v. Perhaps
a group of students can receive additional credit for developing
and implementing the marketing plan for
this specific event. This concept
prepares the participating students for the
"real business world." Since the

school will be receiving a percentage
of each ticket sold -- if the ticket sales
exceed a certain number, the school
can give the students a partial or full
scholarship
for the following year
without feeling any financial pain. An
incentive for everyone!
vi. Perhaps a few local corporations
could co-sponsor some aspects of the
event, like the lunch on the day of
the
event or the printing required to
market the event.
vii. We also would like to give a block of
tickets (in
your school's name) to
disadvantaged youth who want to
succeed in life.
AN ALTERNATIVE IDEA
A few local corporations or a large grant from a
foundation can sponsor the entire seminar event, giving Dr. Freeman his normal honorarium. Several
students can receive
extra credit
for the "real world" experience of raising the funds
for a win/win scenario. Everyone attends the seminar
without charge...if the entire event is sponsored.
