The Question: Do you represent
an organization with
the infrastructure to
host or to
co-sponsor a region-wide high-impact seminar event with
The Freeman Institute®
or to co-sponsor a regional/national tour
with Dr. Freeman as the keynote presenter?
(review
some of the high-impact seminar programs two pages below)
The Freeman Institute Foundation
is the non-profit arm of
The
Freeman Institute.
The primary purpose of the foundation is to help provide
the opportunity for world-class
leadership development and educational seminar experiences for all -- regardless of age, race,
class or religious affiliation -- who would be
unable to afford Dr. Freeman's regular, general market fees for such
training. Based upon the recommendation of Dr. Freeman and
the board, The Freeman Institute Foundation will help
subsidize a limited number (five) of seminar events each year
for organizations that want to co-sponsor a region-wide
event.
The Freeman Institute's signature seminar
program is affectionately titled, "Dealing With
People Who Drive You Crazy!"®
(Check out the
other programs
mentioned below...)
Is this
your seat?
Dr. Freeman rarely facilitates open registration seminars,
but when he has, the seminars typically attract many small business owners, non-profit
leadership teams, government workers, family business
owners, corporate
leadership teams and others interested in experiencing how personal
development can enhance family and business relationships.

Email your request, with information about your
organization and when/where you want to co-sponsor a
seminar event...with both inreach and outreach benefits.
Some companies may want to sponsor Dr. Freeman for a
national tour for special events around the country.

in action.

Dr.
Joel Freeman has served as the mentor/chaplain of the
NBA Washington Wizards for 19 years ('79-'98) and has worked
personally with many professional athletes and business
executives. From these experiences Dr. Freeman has developed
a number of proven training programs.
Since
1994 The Freeman Institute has experienced enthusiastic
response from the Prime Minister of Grenada, leadership of
Nigeria and senior
officials of
Barbados to

Basic
Thesis: We all are different. Some of us are
thinkers, others are doers; some are passive, still others
are aggressive. Most people come to work with pretty good
intentions, but we get on each other’s nerves just by
being ourselves. In the every-day stress of the work
environment, the tiniest issues can escalate. And soon we
are fighting about the way we are fighting, instead of
dealing with the real issues. People do not respond to our
intentions. They respond to our behavior.
Studies show
that 15% of one's career and financial success is dependent
upon technical competence, while 85% of one's success is
dependent upon interpersonal skills.
Whether an
individual flips hamburgers at a fast food restaurant or
occupies a mid level position of a larger multinational company,
Freeman's passion is to enhance the "promotability potential"
of people of all ages, shapes, sizes and colors. In his
seminars Dr. Freeman blends a sense of humor and personal
vulnerability with sharp wit and practical concepts to reach
a broad audience.

The Question: Do you represent
an organization with
the infrastructure to
host or to co-sponsor a region-wide open-registration seminar event with
The Freeman Institute or to co-sponsor a regional/national tour
with Dr. Freeman as the keynote presenter?
This is a very workable program.

how these seminar events can benefit your organization.

Some organizations have utilized the world-class Freeman
Institute seminars as training for their leadership teams --
as well as a unique event for the region at large.
The
Freeman
Institute Foundation is willing to help subsidize up to
five seminar events each year designed for
organizations that desire to co-sponsor a regional seminar
event or to set up a national tour for Dr. Freeman.
Who is your organization's target audience? Youth?
Healthcare workers? Senior executives? Entrepreneurs? Get
the picture? Dr. Freeman can hit a bulls-eye for your
organization regardless of the target audience.
As a prolific author (6 books in 28 foreign editions),
professional speaker and world traveler, Dr. Freeman is a
seasoned veteran. He is a seasoned veteran, having worked
with people in many levels from many industries. Freeman
has made himself available to facilitate such seminars,
but he wants to make sure that each event is successful --
hosted at a venue large enough to make an impact.
At the
seminar event Dr. Freeman will cast a wide net in terms of
evocative content and practical application. The day long
training event will be customized, so that everyone will walk
away with practical, life-changing principles and values that
they can begin to apply that very day.

Specialized Program Ideas
All-Day
or Half-Day Seminar Events
"Dealing With People Who Drive You Crazy!"®
The People Side of Business and Leadership Success
"IGNITING
(or re-igniting) Your Entrepreneurial Passion!" If Nobody
Loves You, Create The Demand!®
These are
stand-alone seminar events, but here's an idea that
combines the two: The morning session of, let's say,
an entrepreneurship seminar event can address the
"people" side and the afternoon session can address
the "practical/creative business" side.
There are both inreach and
outreach benefits for your organization:
i. Staff/personal/leadership development for the
leadership of your organization, along with the
potential of reaching many others with real-world
value. ii. Very real costs will have to be met (air and ground travel,
workbooks, hotel, food, auditorium, etc). We can be
very creative about all this as we develop a win/win
business relationship. IDEAS: Perhaps this can
be a ticketed event, with a healthy percentage going
back to the organization that co-sponsors it.

benefits, perhaps the
organization will sponsor it all. Let's talk through
the various scenarios...410.991.9718.
iii.
Perhaps
a group of students from a regional business
school/course or community college can receive additional credit for
developing and implementing the marketing plan for
your specific event. Just an idea...
vi. We also would like to give a block of tickets (in
your organization's name) to disadvantaged people who want to
succeed in life.
v.AN ALTERNATIVE IDEA: A few local corporations
can sponsor the seminar event, giving Dr. Freeman his
normal honorarium. Everyone attends the seminar for
free.

Your organization can have
its logo on the left-hand corner of the
cover, along with the first couple pages to do with
what you want. This special edition can be financially
sponsored by local corporations, placing their ads on
the pages in the back of this special edition to make
it a win/win scenario. More info? EMAIL
This edition is timeless,
allowing you to use it over a number of semesters --
sending copies to small business owners in the
community who will then be encouraged to sign up for
evening classes. Another option is to sell it for
retail as a fund-raiser --
Do you have a
large group of
motivated people who would be willing to experience a
half-day or all-day seminar experience with Dr. Freeman? In
addition to doing a company-wide seminar, Freeman loves
doing high-impact region-wide seminar events that are designed to help
enhance leadership/personal development and teamwork. These
larger events could be sponsored by your organization.
