Birthday Party:
We celebrated our mother's 80th birthday with a garden party.
From the crab balls and berchetta appetizers to the main
course of marinated chicken, lasagna, and chicken
enchiladas to the delectable hand-made cream
puffs everything was delicious!
We had trouble with the tents, tables and chairs, but not the menu
or the personable and professional service of
Simply Sophisticated Chefs. The food service went off
without a hitch. We were at ease and able to focus on fun
and conversation with old friends. Their
expertise enhanced our fun. They were a good fit for
our family.

Wedding
Rehearsal Dinner:
On the occasion of my nephew's rehearsal dinner, my home was
transformed into an elegant setting for a most memorable
evening. All 40 dinner guests sat down to filet
grilled to perfection accompanied by the most
delicious Caesar salad we've ever enjoyed.
Simply Sophisticated Chefs catered to our every need yet
allowed us to maintain personal and intimate conversation
right up to the serving of home-made pecan pie. The
bridal party is still talking about the best rehearsal
dinner they have ever attended. Simply Sophisticated created
a decor that was tasteful and sophisticated,
transporting our guests to a five star dining experience
right in my own home.

Wedding Reception:
When my wife said she wanted to have an evening garden reception
for our wedding, I
thought she was crazy but we got to work and created a
setting so picturesque I marvel at it myself.
I followed my wife's every desire; stringing lights in the trees,
tiki torches on the lawn, and floating candles in the
pond. We needed someone who understood the whole picture
to provide food that fit our fairytale wedding. Simply
Sophisticated Chefs not only provided a superb meal,
but also added a component of ambience that made

Graduation Party:
When I decided to have a graduation party for my husband, I knew I
needed some special chefs because food isn't just food to
him. Simply Sophisticated Chefs created a variety
of zippy appetizers and hearty entrees that went
beyond his high standard. I don't know if his favorite
was the salmon, chicken marsala or beef tenderloin. He
visited with a myriad of guests but never left his plate
behind.

Special Occasion:
We kicked
off our shoes and danced in the kitchen this Mother’s Day
as our Personal Chefs be bopped
to the music while preparing our mouthwatering
brunch. After experiencing the food we hired them on
the spot for Father’s Day.

Wedding:
We were
just a few weeks away from our daughter's October wedding
date when we suddenly found ourselves without a
caterer. Having heard the ads on WRBS, we contacted Simply
Sophisticated Chefs and explained our "last minute" need.
To our surprise, Kandis, Shirley and Kathy not only
accepted the challenge but did so cheerfully, calmly,
creatively and with professionalism. This is amazing
enough, but when you consider that our event was a
seated dinner for 150 people, it is incredible! The
chefs talked with our daughter, the bride, about what her
vision was for the meal and got an idea about our budget.
Within days, they presented us with a plan for a spectacular autumn
feast, with an out-of-the-ordinary menu, (gourmet salad
with walnuts, goat cheese and sliced pear, beef tenderloin
with cranberry port sauce, roasted vegetables, real mashed
potatoes, breads with herbed butters and much
more) including servers and linens, all within our
budget! Soon after signing the contract, the chefs
met with us at the church where the wedding was to be
held, toured the kitchen and the dining room, and gave us
a sample meal of what they would be serving at the
wedding. The bride and her mother were "over the moon"
with excitement at what we tasted!
It was a wonderful variety of flavors, colors and textures - a
delight to the eye as well as to the palette! Having
tasted the food, we were all the more eager for
the approaching wedding day and for the experience of
sharing such a fabulous meal with all of our family, loved
ones and friends. When the day arrived, and all of my
"Mother-of-the-Bride panic" set in, the Simply
Sophisticated Chefs and all of their helpers were warm
and encouraging and exuded the calm of seasoned
professionals! They commenced to lay out the spectacular
spread, as promised, and we sat back and relished every
moment of the evening which will be forever etched in our
memory.
Countless people tapped us on the shoulder that night, asking who
the caterer was! We were happy to tell them, "Simply
Sophisticated Chefs!"
